The world men's tour comes back to Toronto, after too long an absence. Toronto, the booming squash capital of North America in the mid 80's, finally gets to see hometown star, Jonathon Power, do battle with his peers in his home city.

Will Jonathon Power and Simon Parke meet up again in Toronto? In Boston it was a tense and close semi-final, punctuated by pauses caused by Power's shattered racket and torn shoes - Power won in the end. In Florida the competitiveness rose to the surface in a contentious semi-final, also won by Power. Will they meet again in Toronto? They are in the same half of the draw again this week -- they could easily meet in an exciting rejoining of their battle on Thursday.

NICOL MATCH SHARP ???
Peter Nicol withdrew from this year's British Open, with a leg injury at first believed to be a stress fracture. He returned to the tour in Florida, but failed in his first test, very uncharacteristically losing in the first round to Rodney Durbach.

Has Peter come back to North America ready to reclaim his position in the upper echelons of the sport?

BARADA WILL BOUNCE BACK ??

Ahmed Barada has lost the constant companionship of coach Hesham El Attar. El Attar, who lives in Italy but was coaching Barada in Egypt, finally had to decide to spend more time with his you family. Since then, Barada has been somewhat erratic in his performance. Look for Barada to bounce back with determination in Toronto.

Heath would dearly like to break through and win a big one. To do that, Heath will have to keep his focus, balance, and spirit pointed toward the finals. His big wins in the semis have led him to letdowns in the finals.
