Top Squash comes to Bishop’s Stortford, Broxbourne and Cannons St. Albans Squash Clubs who are hosts for the Harrow PSA Challenger Series.

UK Squash Academy Directors Paul Selby and John Milton are happy to announce a Series of three Professional Squash Association (PSA) Challenger events planned for June July and August, 2007.

UK Squash Academy's Milton said, "We are meeting the need for this type of tournament to help out the younger professional Squash players to get their foot on the ladder and gain some valuable points needed to elevate them in to higher events on the world circuit."

Mark Chaloner on behalf of Harrow Squash England, has come on board with this project, citing the importance of giving these young players a helping hand to move up the World rankings without having to invest in travelling halfway around the world.

Squash is thriving in Hertfordshire at the moment with the Boys U15 and Girls U13 teams the current National Champions. Bishop’s Stortford Squash Club was recently voted England Squash club of the year and are the current National Club Champions. Herts No1 Chris Ryder (Berkhamsted) is the World University Champion; Adrian Waller (Potters Bar) is U19 & U17 National Champion.

The UK Squash Academy, event organizers, are grateful to the three clubs for running these events at for supporting us 100%.

The Academy also intends to run Junior and Adult amateur tournaments alongside the PSA events to allow young aspiring juniors and serious amateur players to get a feel of being involved with a Professional event. The organizers anticipate organizing followon events if this initial series is successful.
