EGYPTIAN STAR, ENGY KHEIRALLAH SIGNS WITH SQUASHPOWER

Florham Park, NJ – SquashPower LLC, an integrated squash marketing and development company, founded by Jonathon Power, Segun Maku, Rick Keating and Kevin Pillion, today signalled its seriousness about making a mark on the world squash community with the announcement that Egyptian squash competitor Engy Kheirallah has signed with them for marketing and player representation.  Engy is the third high profile player to sign with SquashPower since its launch in November 2005.

Engy Kheirallah, with an ebulliant personality, comfortableness in multiple cultures, and exciting squash game, is a particularly strong catch for SquashPower. It also shows the ability of SquashPower to achieve a global reach, complementing their previous signing of John White, an Australian (playing under the Scottish flag), who has recently moved to the USA.

Kheirallah has been a professional athlete since 1999 and is currently ranked 2nd in Egypt and 20th in the world. Kheirallah is one of the WISPA players with a strong opportunity to achieve world top-five status. Her strong athletic abilities, flashy style, strong mental approach, and strategic mind on court all speak to strong future potential.

In 2005, Engy won two mid-range tournaments - the Alexandria Sporting Club Open and the Atlanta Masters - earning the honor of becoming one of the few players to remain undefeated in tour finals.  Engy’s victory in Atlanta marked her fourth triumph in the Women’s International Squash Players Association (WISPA) World Tour final.

“Engy’s enthusiasm, dedication and love of the game of squash have helped her secure a position as one of the top squash professionals in the world,” said Rick Keating, CMO of SquashPower.  “We are honored to have Engy signed on and we know that she will continue to experience ongoing success.”

“I chose SquashPower because they understand the market and needs of the squash athlete,” said Kheirallah.  “Most important to me is their commitment to involving the professional athlete in the grassroots growth of the sport."

SquashPower is also known to be in ongoing cooperation discussions with Omar El Bolorossy, who has formed a local squash marketing entity in Egypt.
