Harrow Sports announced March 5th that English squash pro Laura Jane Lengthorn signed a multi-year agreement to play on Team Harrow.

With the signing, Harrow, a privately held sports equipment company based in Greenwich, is seeking to expand its reach beyond the USA squash market.

Harrow, a new entrant into the squash marketplace in 2002, has moved aggressively to position itself as a signficant player. Through continuous advertising and sponsorship of junior players, events and teams, Harrow has gained signficant visibility in the US Market, putting itself in a position to challenge Black Knight as the "largest of the small players" behind Prince, Dunlop, Head and Wilson, and potentially to push even them. Now with the signing of Lengthorn, (and the accompanying signing of Mo Abbas), Harrow is moving to position itself with an international audience and market.

A pro since 2002, Laura is currently #13 on the WISPA Tour. Following an impressive Junior campaign where she won National titles at U14, U 15, U 17 and U 19 (twice) Laura has rapidly moved up to her current top 15 position.

“Laura’s character and determination make her an ideal Team Harrow member”, said Mark Hayden, CEO of Harrow Sports, “and her performance on the court make her one of the true rising stars on the women’s professional squash tour”.

“I chose Harrow Sports because of their dedication to the squash athlete”, said Laura. “They are a significant supporter of the WISPA Tour, and provide personal attention to the playing professionals they sponsor”.

About Harrow Sports
Founded in 2002, Harrow has quickly become a significant squash racquet manufacturer in North America. Harrow has also become is a leading producer of lacrosse and field hockey products under the Harrow brand which has given it signficant economies of scale to continue to pursue squash market share.
