TRINITY MEN'S SQUASH DOWNS HARVARD FOR 61ST STRAIGHT WIN Hartford, Conn.- Senior co-captain Rohan Juneja (Bombay, India) dominated in his match at the No. 7 position with a 9-4, 9-0, 9-0 win to lead the Trinity College Bantams to an 8-1 win over the visiting Harvard University Crimson in men's squash action this afternoon at the newly-dedicated George A. Kellner Squash Center. Trinity, ranked No. 1 in the nation, improves to 9-0 for the season and extends its winning streak to 61 consecutive matches. Harvard, ranked No. 2 in the nation, falls to 4-1. Trinity has not lost since the 1998 National Intercollegiate Squash Racquets Association (NISRA) Championship finals, which it lost to the Crimson, 5-4. All eight of Trinity's wins came by 3-0 scores, including a triumphs by Bantam senior co-captain Lefika Ragontse (Gaborone, Botswana), junior Nickolas Kyme (Pembroke, Bermuda), and sophomore Michael Ferreira (Stamford, England) over nationally-ranked crimson opponents. Peter Karlen, returning to the court for the otherwise under-manned Crimson, moved down to #4 but still was not able to keep pace with Bermudian Kyme. Harvard freshman Michael Blumberg (Victoria, British Columbia) posted the lone victory for the visitors, 3-1, over Bantam senior Rohan Bhappu (Bombay, India) at No. 5. MATCH RESULTS 1.
