The biggest news at Middlebury is the arrival of 5 new international courts. This will jumpstart the growing Middlebury program.

Holly Haertel, second year player from Greenwich Academy , will play at #1 and will look to build upon her highly successful 1st year at Middlebury. She is looking to take her game to the next level and has the attitude and work ethic to do so. Holly will be the anchor of the team. The 2 senior captains, Lisa Pilkington, St Andrews, and Eliza Funston, Middlesex School, will provide solid leadership and an infectious work ethic. Pilkington missed last year due to the study abroad program, and will provide a steadying influence on the team and looks to build upon her great work from 2 years ago.

Lauren Smith, returns to provide solid depth to our ladder and hopes to build upon her great finish to last year. Freshmen Caitlin Flint, from Milton Academy and Alexandra Polemis, Kent School, both bring playing experience and will add some important depth to the team.

In sum, Middlebury looks forward to a competitive year and to hosting a home match on our new courts as we have spent the last 6 years permanantly on the road.
