Hartford, Conn.- The Trinity College women's squash team swept its three matches this weekend in the trinity Squash Invitational at the George A. Kellner Squash Center this weekend. The Bantams, ranked No. 1 in the nation, downed the Bowdoin College Polar Bears, ranked No. 10 in the nation, and the Bates College Bobcats, both 9-0, on Saturday, and blanked the Vassar College Brewers, 9-0, on Sunday to improve to 11-0 and extend their winning streak to 19 straight contests.

With the women's season heading into the Howe Cup championships next weekend, Trinity rested most of their top players, giving their deep squad a chance to show their stuff against a trio of weaker opponents. Among the players rested were Trinity's top two, Amina Helal and Lynn Leong, as well as co captain Clare Austin.

Eight Bantams won three matches on the weekend, including sophomore Bronwyn Cooper (Harare, Zimbabwe) who won in impressive fashion, 3-0, 3-0, and 3-0 while surrendering a total of nine points in nine games. Sophomore Meridy Vollmer (Cincinnati, Ohio) and freshmen Margot Kearney (Rye, N.Y.), Katie
Peck (Cockeysville, Md.), and Leigh Endressen (Rye, N.Y.) also won three matches without giving up a single game for the Bantams.
