For the University of Virginia,
this is the first official season with varsity squash matches. We have
played at the club level for the last two years and are glad to take our
team to the next level. We are looking forward to entering in the Nationals
for the first time and hope to establish a strong team here at Virginia
for the future. Key freshman is Dan Bracey from the Haveford School in Philadelphia who enters as the team's number one and will hopefully be a leader for the team in the future. Though a new entrant in the
CSA, Virigina has a natural set of future rivals, including Club squads
at UNC and Duke as well as the nearby varsity programs at GWU and Navy.
Virginia looks forward to establishing itself within that group and at
a National level.
