Coach Katie Hawke leads an enthusiastic squad that mixes experience with impressive new talent. Unpredictable, due to the untested new arrivals, the Mt. Holyoke nine will be an interesting team to follow this year.

Mt Holyoke’s Squash team is looking forward to a successful season even though the team lost 6 starting players. The team returns 4 of the MHC nine Liz Hughes (co-captain) who finished the season with a final W.I.S.A ranking of 39th; Andra Petrica, Abby Horne (co-captain) and Nana Osam-Tewiah. Three squad members also return hoping to make the MHC Nine; Barbara Berska, Ashley Goodrich-Mahoney and Kelly Huggins.

Three first years have started training with the team. Shubika Bilkha from India will challenge Liz Hughes for the number one seed for MHC. Seetashma Thapa also joins the team from Nepal and Samantha Gammons a graduate from Miss Porters School.

First year Nusrat Madraswala also from India will join the team in January. This will add depth and the possibility of a very promising latter season and Howe Cup result.

Also making her team debut in squash will be senior Laura Pollet and new comers to the game hoping to challenge the MHC Nine are Emily Lynch, Kristina Quercia, Christina Rodriguez.
