Shona Kerr enters her second year as Wellesley College Coach, with a strong and diverse squad looking to match or exceed their 2002 end of season #14 ranking and to achieve their third straight winning season. The teams diversity include players from China, Japan, India, Thailand, Dominican Republic and Alaska.

Coach Kerr, who hails from Wales, has had an immediate impact on the Wellesley nine. Kerr brings with her coaching and technical experience gained at the highly-regarding University of Wales Cardiff Sports program.

Whilst playing the usual suspects of Smith, Tufts, Conn. College and Mount Holyoke, Wellesley will also for the first time be making an appearance in the Williams Invitational. They kick off our season against Wesleyan on November 23rd.

Key returning players for Wellesley include last year's number 1, Wendy Huang and last year's number 3, Amy Connor. Lila Lee and Hannah Whang will also be returning to the middle order.

To that experienced core, Wellesley start the season with a number of new faces, include Ira Trivedi of the Indian National Squash, Caroline Connor former Groton number 2 and Tomoko Takahashi former number 1 for Tabor academy.
