Amherst Women's Squash surpassed their own expectations in the
2002 season, retaining their 11th place ranking from 2001, despite the
loss of 2 of their top 3 players.

2002 brought exciting wins over Penn, Middlebury, Wellesley, and St. Lawrence with clutch performances coming from all over the ladder.

Now a well-tested squad, the upcoming 2002-2003 season should be an exciting one for the Jeffs. The returning top four, Roopali Agarwal '03, Susanna Burke '03, Ali Gibbs '05, and Liz Martin '04 will be joined by Sophomore transfer Ashley Harmeling, who has already this fall established herself as a soccer star fro the Lady Jeff's, as well as Emily Stark '04 and Mara Alcaly '05.

The Jeffs will once again face off against some of the nations toughest programs including Princeton, Yale, Dartmouth, and Harmeling's previous teammates from Harvard.

Look for talented Amherst team to cement wins with success at the middle and bottom of the ladder.
