Bates Tops Navy and Williams tops Dartmouth
In a defining week in the 2007 men's college regular season, a number of unexpected results caused significant movement in the middle sections of the college ranking tables.

Williams, which last season broke into the National top ten, demonstrated further progress as they defeated Dartmouth last weekend and move up to the #7 national position.

Bates, which also has been knocking on the door, defeated Navy to assume the #9 spot. There are now four NESCAC schools (Trinity, Williams, Bates and Amherst) among the national top 11 positions, a possibly unprecedented achievement.

An undermanned Cornell squad lost last weekend to Amherst, confirming their relative positions, while U Rochester, under second-year coach and former top-ten PSA player Martin Heath, broke into the top 20 at #19.
