Princeton and Mt Holyoke Charge Ahead in February 1st Rankings
The Mt Holyoke women's squash team continued it climb as the most suprising success story of the 2006-07 college squash season with a further gain in the February 1st CSA rankings. Mt. Holyoke suffered a close 5-4 loss to a very strong, 10th ranked, Bates College teams while defeating William Smith (#17) and Hamilton (#16).

This week, Mt. Holyoke moves from 16th to 13th, the highest ranking ever achieve by Mt. Holyoke under third-year coach, Pam Saunders.

Princeton had a triumvirate of strong wins over Trinity, defending champions Yale, and Penn, to stake a strong claim to the national #1 position at this juncture.

The Harvard Crimson, who have yet to play their most difficult opponents, have an all-stakes week upcoming, in which they face Princeton, Penn, Trinity and Yale.

Also making gains are Wellesley and Conn College while Vassar dipped further to 21st.
