Smith and Northeastern

Northeastern celebrated World Squash Day with their program’s first ever win over a young Smith College squad at the Northeastern/SquashBusters facility in Boston on Saturday.

The first CSA match of the season for both teams featured many close rallies despite the 8-1 score in Northeastern’s favor.

The #1 match between Smith’s Kate Whitesell and NE’s Sara Barrett was a classic squash battle featuring long rallies down the backhand wall, punctuated by tight drops.  First year Jasmine Wallas from the Bahamas got Smith’s lone win.
