Top Teams Stay in Place as Weekend Action Looms
ACTON MA - The College Squash Association annouced today the latest team rankings for Men's intercollegiate teams for the 06-07 season, for play through November 21st.

Rankings are based on head to head team matchups. With most of the early season play involving the middle and lower tier teams, movement in the ranking positions below 12 provides most of the interest this week.

The Naval Academy has shown some early season strength, recording a convincing win against one of their arch rivals, Bowdoin College, which was the ninth match of the year for Navy while the season opener for Bowdoin.

A total of 52 teams have been awarded national rankings, including Air Force, UC Davis and University of Miami, who have not seen action yet.

Moving down in early season play was F&M, who moved from 13th the 17th. F&M lost their last year's #1 player by transfer to Trinity College. Also moving up were Northeastern, from 28 to 27 and Virginia from 37 to 32.

This weekend will see a key matchup between #6 UPenn and #4 Yale which has the potential for some extremely closely played contests, as well as in interesting matchup between #14 Bowdoin and #10 Amherst.
