Rankings and All Americans Finalized

March 15th, Acton MA - The CSA Women's Ranking Committe has released the final Coaches Individual Women's rankings.

Concurrently, the All-American players (10 first team and 10 second team) were announced, with Princeton, who finished first in the National team tournament (Howe Cup), boasting two first team All Americans, tied with Harvard and Trinity.

Trinity showed the greatest depth, winning a total of five All-American spots to Princeton's four and Yale, Harvard and Penn's three. Other teams with All Americans were Stanford (Lily Lorentzen - first team) and Williams (Toby Eyre - first team). A total of 115 players received rankings.

By policy, the All Americans and final rankings are heavily weighted to the results of the National individual tournament, held this year the weekend of February 29th at Navy. Although Princeton's Amanda Siebert was upset in the first round of the tournament, by Harvard's Bethan Williams, and did not compete in the consolation bracket, she was awarded an All American spot by decision of the ranking committee, on the basis that she was unwell during the tournament. Williams finished just out of the All-American placements, at 21st.

National individual title winner, Senior Miranda Ranieri of Yale, finished with the #1 national ranking while finalist Kristen Lange from Penn finished second.
