Men's 05-06
Season Outlook: After finishing the season at Team Championships by beating George Washington 5-4 to capture the Conroy division, the team is looking forward to another strong year. After two years as head coach of Rochester, Canadian David Kay, left the University and was replaced by highly ranked player and coach Martin Heath. The team only lost two seniors, and with the three strong recruits and new coach, the team is optimistic for the future. With the help of fitness specialist Matthew Danker, the team plans to be in excellent shape for their first match in November. Notable returning players are sophomore and All Liberty League #1 Patrick Harris who went 15-7 finishing #75, senior Jay Acharya, sophomores Jamie Lynn, Ravi Gupta, Ben Hewson, senior Drew Aldrich, graduate student Paul Chin and returning senior Billy Hoe. A strong class of experienced freshmen including Dan Carson (Haverford), Ori Goldman (Berkshire School) and Rob Pakan (Salisbury School) all plan to build on successful high school experience. Heath is eager to start coaching the team stating that "we have a great bunch of guys with lots of potential for the upcoming season." To contact Martin Heath: mheath@sports.rochester.edu.
