For Immediate Release - Three times World Squash Champion Sarah Fitz-Gerald has successfully appealed against action taken by the Women's International Squash Players Association (WISPA) for her alleged breach of conduct in December 2000 for competing in an English National League match during the UniversalSportsClub Classic WISPA World Tour event.

The independent tribunal upheld Miss Fitz-Gerald's appeal and therefore her 14-year impeccable record as a player and an ambassador for the sport remains intact. Fitz-Gerald, winner of more WISPA World Tour titles than any other present player, will be bidding for another success at the Com4Net Munich Open in March, followed by the WISPA Grand Prix Finals in Egypt.
