Hartford Golf Club (Feb 12-14 1999) Juniors Tournament, W Hartford CT USA
The under 19's are the class of this tournament - with full 32-person draw in
both the boy's and girl's divisions. The younger divisions are composed of more compact but
extremely competitive draws. The tournament's expanded format required it to expand beyond the
rarified confines of the Hartford Golf Club, to additionally make use of the great Trinity College
Squash facility. This had the positive benefit of a great facility for many of the draws but the
drawback of spreading the tournament out, so that many players spent the entire day without seeing
each other.
