FINAL RESULTS

David Yik of North Vancouver sucessfully defended his Boys Under 19 title at the 29^th annual Pacific Northwest Junior Squash Championships in an impressive display of skills in the final round robin match against Brendon Abercrombie of Prince George. In similar fashion, Rebecca Fouchard of Penticton, B.C. won her Under 19 Girls final against Victoria’s 12 year old rising star, Jennifer Blumberg in straight sets. The tournament attracted 145 entries from British Columbia, Alberta, Washington and Oregon. Tournament organizer, Phil Green was very pleased with the number of entries and a notably high standard of play this year.
