Higgins Ousts Grant but then surrenders to Iskandar

The semifinals of the inaugural BSPA Colet's Open squash event involved three PSA regulars and one surprising contender. The surprise was Iain Higgins, who knocked out Alan Grant in an exciting contest that was nip-and-tuck all the way. Grant may have finally paid the price for his three days in the hospital following a car wreck at the beginning of the week.

Anthony Ricketts, an elite player at the top of his game, just had too much all-court play for Simon Parke, who gamely is working to reclaim some of his elite form. Meanwhile Malaysia's Iskandar had too much experience for Higgins to make many inroads.

The final is Sunday at 2PM.
