England's Peter Barker picked up his second PSA Tour title in a week when he beat Australia's Raj Nanda in straight games in the final of the Colombian Open Squash Championship in the Colombian capital Bogotá.

Winner of the Aberto Internacional de Sao Paulo in Brazil seven days earlier, Barker battled hard against Mexican number one Eric Galvez, the seventh seed, in the quarter-finals and then compatriot Joey Barrington in a five-game marathon to reach the final of the $20,000 PSA Tour event.

After a testing opening game against sixth seed Nanda, second seed Barker triumphed 11-6 11-1 11-4 in just 22 minutes to win the biggest title of his career.

The 21-year-old left-hander from Upminster in Essex has now collected four PSA titles since reaching the final of the World Junior Championships in India in December 2002 – and can now look forward to improving on his current world ranking of 29 when the next PSA Rankings happen in September.
