Renan Lavigne captures title in Bogota

LAVIGNE CAPTURES COLOMBIAN OPEN TITLE Frenchman Renan Lavigne claimed the fourth and biggest title of his professional career when he beat Egypt's Wael El Hindi 15-13 15-0 15-6 in the final of the $20,000 Colombian Squash Open in Bogota. The 26-year-old No2 seed from Paris, ranked 45 in the world, failed to drop a game throughout the PSA tour event. His seventh-seeded opponent, runner-up in the world junior championships three years ago, upset Canadian top seed Shahier Razik in the quarter-finals en-route to his unexpected appearance in the final.
