RICKETTS RIDES TO CNS SUCCESS

Anthony Ricketts

Australia's Anthony Ricketts finally ended unseeded Mohammed Abbas's run in the $25,000 CNS International Squash Championship in Pakistan, beating the Egyptian 15-9 15-14 15-6 in the 40-minute final in Karachi. The victory marks the 22-year-old Australia's third PSA Tour title, and was the second PSA final appearance for 20-year-old Abbas who removed third seeded Australian Anthony Hill in the first round, then the favourite Kareem Darwish to reach the semi-finals.
