Who are the Eye Group and what do they bring to the world of squash? The Eye group, an entrepreneurial media company based in London, produce and distribute media, especially TV and video. Eye group have effectively rescued the British Open by signing a multi-year sponsorship agreement with the SRA of Britain. In the process, they have brought something really valuable to Squash -- professionalism in media marketing.

This year's British Open has received terrific print coverage (see photos bottom right) and the Eye Group have been distributing daily highlight TV coverage via BBC and Reuters International to over 610 TV stations worldwide.

Because of the very strong interest in Ahmed Barada's potential success in Egypt, his matches have been produced for potential broadcast to Egypt. All of Ahmed's matches have been fully taped for Egyptian TV. With Joyce's victory in the Women's final, a full tape of her victory was being forwarded to New Zealand TV immediately following the finals.

Also, a professional video will be produced, narrated by Jonah Barrington, of the British Open.
