Anthony Hill gave Peter Nicol a few moments to think twice. Peter Nicol said in the press conference yesterday evening that Anthony Hill is capable of playing extremely well and giving him some trouble. He mentioned their prior four game meeting in Hong Kong.

Anthony did play well. He appeared determined to push Peter hard and to prove to the audience and himself his capability to play up to Peter's level. He did in spurts, especially in the third game.  He hit some absolutely wonderful shots, including two dead nicks in a row off of boasts as well as some great shots to go from 14-14 to 17-15 in the third game.

He succombed though, with a string of errors in game four.

Nicol easily retrieved most of Hill's drops to the front.

Peter Nicol ponders Hill's two dead nicks in a row.
