The Penn women's squash team advanced to the semifinals of the Howe Cup national team championships with an 8-1 win over Cornell Friday afternoon at Yale University. Penn will meet Harvard, a 9-0 winner over Dartmouth, on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. The Quakers defeated the Crimson, 6-3, on February 12, Penn's first-ever victory against Harvard in school history. The Quakers won their eight matches by 3-0 scores. Freshman Runa Reta (Ottawa, Ontario), junior Rina Borromeo (Phillippines) and junior Helen Bamber (Zimbabwe) were winners the Nos. 2-4 spots respectively. Junior Megan Fuller (Lake Tahoe, Nev.), junior Paige Kollock (Wyndmoor, Pa.) and sophomore Chrissy Eynon (Cincinnati, Ohio) won at the Nos. 5, 6 and 7 positions. Closing out the fine performance were senior Patti Lin (Toms River, N.J.) at No. 8 and senior Eliza Jacobs (Eggertsville, N.Y.) at No. 9.
