Yehia Triumphs At Sea Bright
Karim Yehia emerged victorious from a small but talented field at the Valkyrie Club in Sea Bright, NJ, this past weekend. The original field of five players-Yehia, Clive Leach, Segun Maku, host pro Francis Odeh, the tournament chairman, and Imran Khan---was trimmed even further when Khan, as he has done several times in the past few years, most recently at the Jimmy Dunn Invitational in Philadelphia just last month, withdrew just before play was due to begin.

Yehia then defeated the former several-time U. S. 30-and-over champion Odeh three games to love, and former PSA No. 26 Leach, now a star on the ISDA pro doubles circuit, did the same to Maku. The final between the two NYAC pros Yehia and Leach was well played and competitive, but all three games would up in Yehia's column.
