Sethia Wins Dual Titles by the Bay

The long-running annual University Club Singles and Doubles Invitational squash event in San Francisco ended up with Amit Sethia taking home silver in both the 5.5 singles and the hardball doubles events, with Dave Vahlsing opposing him in both finals.

Brett Gladstone and Associates was a principal sponsor of the event. With strong local participation, and sponsorship by Black Knight Squash, the weekend ended up with the finals as follows:

The next major event in San Francisco will be the California State Doubles Championships March 10-12 sponsored by Baykeeper whose mission is to protect and enhance the water quality of the San Francisco Bay-Delta Estuary and its tributaries for the benefit of its ecosystems and human communities.  More info can be found at baykeeper.org. University Club of San Francisco member Owen O’Donnell, who serves as a Baykeeper board member, was instrumental in arranging the sponsorship relationship.
