GOING
FOR THE HAT TRICK
Meanwhile, Canada's uncanny sharpshooter,
Girls U19 competitor Neha Kumar, will go for the triple,
as she plays England's Victoria Lust in her bid to add the
Scottish Open crown to her Canadian Open and US Open trophies,
won in the past three weeks.
The
Mexican traveling Junior squad, who populated the latter
stages of the junior draws at the Canadian Junior Open and
US Junior Open, showed their stuff in Scotland this week,
with the Salazar twins taking both final berths in the Men's
U19 Scottish Junior Open, as well as the other U15 finals
berth, in which Gabriel Velazquez will fill the other end
of the draw agains Chubb.
Other
shows of strength cam from Canada, with three finalists and
three addional semi finals, India, with three finalists and
four additional semi finalists, and China with two finalists
and two additional semi finalists.
NO
STRENGTH IN YANKEE NUMBERS
Despite
the presence of some 47 Americans in the draw, none of them
emerged through the quarterfinal rounds.
