Barrington Beats Beachill In Saudi Surprise 

In the Egyptian "Super Quarter" of the Saudi International, Mo Abbas knocked out higher ranked Karim Darwish, who had in turned put out phenom Ramy Ashour in the first round. Abbas now faces Shabana in the quarterfinals, a match in which Shabana will be highly favored.

Meanwhile Gregory Gaultier and Thierry Lincou from France both won to set up a rematch.
