Garner & Gaultier Go For Dayton Glory England's top seed Tim Garner and third-seeded Frenchman Gregory Gaultier will meet in the final of the CJSquash.com Dayton Open in Ohio, USA. Garner maintained his clean sheet throughout the event when he beat Irish champion Liam Kenny in straight games in the semi-final. The 31-year-old London-based Englishman from Sussex controlled most of the rallies, and was only mildly troubled when his opponent fought back from 6-13 to 12-14 in the second game. Garner ultimately closed it out the match 15-11 15-12 15-9 to reach his 15th PSA Tour final, but his first in the USA since October 1997. Gregory Gaultier, the 19-year-old European junior champion from Aix-en-Provence, was too strong for his Australian challenger Cameron White - and only got into trouble when he lost concentration at 9-6 in third and went 9-14 behind in one hand before losing the game. He regained his focus immediately in the fourth, however, and soon secured his 15-11, 15-8, 12-15, 15-5 win and a place in his fourth Tour final.
