Favourite Garner Cruises To First Round Win In Ohio England's Tim Garner, seeking international squash success on the PSA Tour in the USA while most of his compatriots battle for domestic honours in the British National Championships in Manchester, cruised to a straight games win the opening round of the CJSquash.com Dayton Open in Ohio. The top seed beat fellow Englishman Shahid Khan, a qualifier, 15-6 15-10 15-10 - and is now set to meet another qualifier after Matthew Giuffre upset 8th seed Ian Power - younger brother of world squash star Jonathon Power - 15-11 11-15 15-10 15-10 in an all-Canadian first round clash. Swiss qualifier Andrew Holderegger pulled off the event's biggest upset when he fought back from a game down to overcome second-seeded Finn Mika Monto 5-15 15-13 15-9 15-12.
