PSA Terminates Fablon/Eye Group Agreement

At its recent meeting in New York, the Board of the Professional Squash Association (PSA) discussed and reviewed its relationship with Fablon Investments Ltd and the Eye Group. At the end of a long and fruitful discussion, the Board decided, in all the prevailing circumstances, that the PSA would at this time discontinue its agreement with Fablon/Eye Group.

PSA Chairman Jack Herrick and Executive Director Gawain Briars stated: "We have been mindful of the considerable and extensive financial support that Fablon and the Eye Group have given many organisations in squash over the past few years, and the outstanding contribution they have made to the development of television coverage of major events.

"However, as a Board, we now consider it the appropriate time to sever our links with Fablon and the Eye Group so that we may pursue alternative opportunities.

"We would like to confirm that at no stage during our relationship with the two organisations has there been any financial exposure to the PSA. Our contract with Fablon and the Eye Group was in the form of an enabling status with no financial commitment by the PSA," they added.
