Razik Roars To Manitoba Triumph

Third seeded Canadian Shahier Razik delighted local crowds in the final of the ADL Optical/Rodenstock Manitoba Squash Open in Manitoba, Canada, when he upset Australia's second seed Paul Price to claim his sixth PSA Tour title.

It was a closely-contested affair, but Cairo-born Razik - who despatched top seed and fellow Torontonian Graham Ryding to reach the final - finally overcame Price 15-13 11-15 15-13 15-8.

Razik, the 26-year-old Pan American Games gold medallist, won his first PSA title in Brazil in August 1999 - and has now clinched his fifth successive tour trophy in North America.
