The compact, energy-packed young French pro Isabelle Stoehr hustled her way into a semi final meeting tomorrow evening with Linda Elriani at the WISPA Dayton Open.

Isabelle Stoehr and England's Rebecca Botwright entertained the crowd with a battle that saw Stoehr go up 2-0 quite easily, then Rebecca battled back in two hard fought games ending in tie-breaks going to her. At two all, Stoehr's constant motion and pressure finally took the toll on Botwright, who appeared to largely run out of gas in the fifth. In the other three matches, the higher seeds Linda Elriani, Omenya Abdel Kawy, and Kasey Brown, easily dispatched their opponents.
