Regional Pro Event is First Kiev Prize Money Squash Event

Roman Dolinich, a well known squash figure in the Ukraine has announced that Kiev will host for the first time ever a men's pro squash event. The event will be held at the Aquarium Squash Center in Kiev.

The Ukranian event will be based around invitations to 16 professional players from regional squash centers of Russia,Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Greece, Estonia, Croatia and Yugoslavia. In a unique format, the organizers have issued invitations to the top two players from each of the regional organizations.

The Kiev event also hopes to attract top players from Sweden,Finland,Austria and other European centers.

This will be the Ukraine's first prize money squash event. Accompanying the pro event will be a participation amateur event.

“Aquarium” is the most complete fitness center not only in Kiev, but it's also the biggest family fitness center in the Ukraine. The center has promoted a series of competitions among the clients and sportsmen from all the Ukraine with the aim of squash popularization in Ukraine. Also “Aquarium” has been a driving force behind organizing the Ukrainian Squash Federation.

The event will take place July 23rd to 25th.
