US Junior Champions Crowned for 2006

Trevor McGuinness was crowned US junior champion, as he defeated Mark Froot in the finals of the boys Under 19 division of the US Junior closed championships Sunday. A few upsets did devolve. In the Boy's Under 15s, Juan Flores from New York upended Danny Greenberg of Philadelphia. In the Girls U17s, top seed Emily Park was upset by Natasha Kingshot of Greenwich CT, and in the Boys U17s, the top two seeds went out in semi final action leaving Third seed Matt Domenick to defeat fourth seed Michael Maruca in the finals.
