SL Green and Women's Nationals Final Round

The Yale senior Julian Illingworth sucessfully defended his SL Green title by upseting the No. 1 seed, Damian Walker to win the 2006 SL Green in 3. This win is a great finale for Illingworth's season and college career. Illingworth, playing before a home Yale crowd, effectively made up for a disappointing outing in the Intercollegiate championships three weeks earlier by collecting the title in his last on-court appearance in front of his fans on his home courts.

Latasha Khan, who defeated Michelle Quibell on Saturday, is now a 7 time US Champion. This is her fifth consecutive win, She won this year's title in 4 games over the #3 college player Michelle Quibell. Latasha has extended her record for US Championships in softball.
