Campion and Owens in Texas Shootout

As expected, top seeds Carol Owens and Cassie Campion will meet in the final of the AON Women's Texas Squash Open after ending the statement-making runs of unseeded Natalie Pohrer and qualifier Tania Bailey, respectively, in Houston, USA.

Bailey, fighting back to form after knee surgery, led 6-1 in the third game after a more attacking approach, and had a game-ball at 8-5 - but Campion regained her focus take the game and the match 9-2, 9-4, 10-8 in 37 minutes. "Tania played really well tonight, so I am pleased to have got through," said world No4 Campion afterwards. "I really had to hang in during the third to sneak it." In the other semi-final,
