Power Wows Lahore Crowd ...
Jonathon Power was at top form tonight, both with regards to his attacking game and with regards to his communications with the officials.

By turns he excited the crowd with his shotmaking and then tortured them with his arguments. At the end, he had David Palmer twisting and turning. Palmer who took game two on two "no-let" calls, that may have been in some part retribution for Power's oncourt discussion, was for the most part on the run.

Half way through the fourth, Palmer suffered a muscle pull and surrendered effectively at that point.

Scotsmen Peter Nicol and Martin Heath put forth one of their usual battles of intensity, at least for the first game. After the first, which Nicol barely won, Heath appeared to wilt before Nicol's relentless consistency.

Nicol and Power now look forward to their 28th Tourney meeting. Power thrashed Nicol at their last meeting in New York; while Nicol ousted Power just as easily three weeks before that in Boston.
