NATALIE AGAIN
I meet Natalie Pohrer in the final round again today in Salt Lake City.

My first two matches were over a little fast, and my semi final match, with Jenny being a better player, gave me a chance to pick up my level," Fitz-Gerald said. "Playing Natalie is going to be tough. I haven't played her since January and she's a lot fitter now than she was.

All seeds comfortably made it through first two rounds, nothing special to report. I had a full gallery at my match as the memebers were curious to see me play, plus I had featured in a huge article in the Salt Lake Tribune.

KHAN VS KHAN
One qualifier Carla Khan had an impressive win into 2nd round with a defeat over Latasha Khan in 5 long tough games. Carla plays tough as Latasha had problems and was frustrated as she couldn't get a straight path to the ball and there were numerous clashes. Cheryl had to work hard and fight to maintain her focus as she lead many times to just as quickly fall off the pace and allow Eman to play some great shots from the back of the court. The altitude plays an inhibiting factor in some matches as you see players run away with a string of points then fall back after a tough rally and the other player gets their breathe back.

Qualifier Karen Morrisey nearly knocked out Maha Zein but some unforced errors and maybe a little inexperience let her down in the crucial rallies of the fifth game.

YELLOW LADY
Annelise wearing bright yellow shoes and her flaming red hair proved too fit and too strong for Louise Crome who had a tremendous win in qualifing over the top quaifier seed Jenny Duncalf (who was feeling the after effects of possibly 24 hour bug the day before)

The hosts and the members are thoroughly enjoying the girls matches and the entertainment. All players are having a great time here and the members are so hospitable.
