Kumail Mehmood Continues Strong Play Preston Quick, currently the class of USA men's squash, proved vulnerable today in international competition as he fell in the final qualifying round to Brazilian hopeful Rafael Alarcon. Meanwhile, Pakistani veteran Kumail Mehmood, in the worlds top 70 as recently as 3 years ago, continues his comeback quest with strong qualifying play. Mehmood will play Eric Galvez in the first round wednesday evening. Galvez, an electric young pro from Mexico, will offer a very stiff test to Mehmood who reached the final of a satellite event in Albany New York a few weeks ago.
