After a day of upsets in Atlanta, Georgia, Borja Golan became the only seeded semi-finalist to reach the last four of the Atlanta Partnertel Squash Open - but the second-seeded Spaniard was taken the full distance before scrambling to a 15-11 4-15 15-13 7-15 15-13 victory over England's No7 seed Alex Stait. Golan, 21, from Santiago, will now face another Englishman Bradley Ball after the unseeded 27-year-old from Suffolk despatched his second successive seed, Switzerland's Lars Harms, 17-16 15-10 15-14. The biggest upset on day two of the PSA Tour event in the USA was claimed by Ireland's sixth seed John Rooney - who took two hours to quash top-seeded Canadian Shahier Razik 17-16 12-15 15-12 8-15 15-11. The Nottingham-based Irishman will meet unseeded Alister Walker who survived an all-English quarter-final clash with fifth seed Mark Heather to win 13-15 15-9 15-4 3-15 15-13.
