Walker Crashes Into Atlanta Final

England's unseeded Alister Walker scored his second successive victory over a seeded player in the Atlanta Partnertel Squash Open when he upset Ireland's sixth seed John Rooney to reach the final in Atlanta, Georgia.

Rooney had reached the last four after removing top-seeded Canadian Shahier Razik - but 21-year-old Walker fought back from 1/2 down to topple the Irishman 15-12 8-15 13-15 15-8 15-6 to reach his third PSA Tour final, and the biggest of his career.

Walker's final opponent will be Borja Golan, the second seed from Spain who despatched Englishman Bradley Ball 15-12 15-10 15-7 in the other semi-final.

The 21-year-old from Santiago enjoys a 100% record in PSA Tour finals, having won all the five he has reached since his first just two years ago.
