The Best Quotes from Behind the Scenes at the CDN Classic Quarters:
It's been said that actions speak louder than words. Then again there's nothing wrong with a good quote. Here's what a few of the players had to say when asked some pointed questions.

"By the time I retire in a year and half's time after the Commonwealth Games hopefully my Events marketing company will have 5 or 6 major events as we're looking to expand in Europe. That will take up a major part of my time. I'll continue doing a small bit of coaching. I have a club in Scotland that I've set up and is running. You know I want to do something completely different as well. I'm open to speaking with people and seeing what there is out there for me to do. I have 2 years to sit back and see what it is I really want to do. I've never really thought about what I want to do other than play squash and I don't have to rush into anything as I have enough money coming in" — Peter Nicol

"Well last year I was consistant but I couldn't really reach my goals of winning titles. This year I've been a little more up and down but at least I won a couple of tournaments like the Hong Kong Open and the Super Series Final in London. So it's a new step in my career and obviously being #1 or being #2 I may now be the target for other players" — Thierry Lincou

"My learning curve is ongoing, really and as you may have saw the other night against Jonathon. Yeah I've got to 12 in the world, brilliant, I'm really pleased with that but you sometimes get these little plateaus where you have a few loses or you stay a bit stagnant for awhile. That's gonna happen and I'm ready to try and improve more and make that next step. The guys just make it very difficult on you . I've got to try and just not get to carried away with what happened last year it was such a big year for me." — James Willstrop

"It's great for Canada. Anytime you can bring the world's international tour into a city it' helps generate interest in the sport and people. Squash enthusiasts get fired up and people who don't know about squash are exposed to it. It's a great thing John Nimmick and Event Engine have done with this tournament. It's going on it's fifth year so it's definetely been a huge success." — Graham Ryding

"I'm alright it's just an old injury that keeps coming back. It's been about 3 weeks now and it's not going away yet. I't's my right leg my abductor. I'm trying to play with it, get away with it. I'm definetly not playing another squash match till I'm 100% fit because I just can't do it. You can't play at this level when there's something wrong with you, at least I can't" — Lee Beachill
