from Squash New Zealand weekly memo, 5.28.99

Squash New Zealand, May 28 1999, David Knowles

The Junior Women's team for the World Championships in Belgium has been picked with an eye to the future. The national selectors Ross Titchmarsh, Wendy Browne and Jenny Norton have picked a young team with three of the four players still eligible for the same event in 2001.

The New Zealand team is Jenny Gearing (Northland), Kylie Lindsay (Waikato), Catherine McLeod (Auckland) and Jaclyn Hawkes (Auckland). Larissa Stephenson (Auckland) has been named as the non-travelling reserve and the team will be managed by Philippa Beams.
