Annelize Naude produced the only upset on the second day of the Women's Atlanta Masters Squash Championship when she beat Hong Kong's Rebecca Chiu in the quarter-finals in Atlanta, USA.

Naude, the fifth seed based in Amsterdam, defeated the fourth-seeded Asian Games champion 9-6 9-6 6-9 6-9 9-6 to earn an unexpected place in the semi-finals where she will meet England's Jenny Duncalf.

Duncalf, the sixth seed, put an end to the giant-killing run of unseeded compatriot Alison Waters in a 9-1 5-9 9-6 9-5 win.

The other semi-final will feature England's top seed Vicky Botwright and Ireland's Madeline Perry, who enjoyed straight games victories over USA's Latasha Khan and Scotland's Wendy Maitland, respectively.
