Suzie Celebrates Maiden WISPA Title

Suzie Pierrepont celebrated her maiden success on the WISPA World Tour when she beat Sarah Kippax in an all-English final of the Women's Rollpak Goshen Squash Open in Indiana, USA.

The 20-year-old third seed from Brighton in Sussex faced tough opposition in the first game from Kippax, the fourth seed from Cheshire who took a 7-3 lead.

But Pierrepont fought back to take the game to a winning tie-break and emphasised her authority in the next two games to win 10-8 9-5 9-0.

It was third time lucky for Pierrepont - who was appearing in her third WISPA final of the year, after finishing as runner-up in the Finnish Open in May and the Salt Lake City Open in August.
