In the college town of Williamstown, Massachusetts, current and past members of Trinity College's celebrated teams scored three wins in first round qualifying action. Reggie Schonborn, Fernanda Rocha, and Lauren Polonich all score opening session wins.

But all eyes were on newly-turned-pro Julian Illingworth, whose first summer of Pro competition has been punctuated by a disappointing tour of New Zealand.

Illingworth, hoping to build some positive momentum with some US appearances, will be continuing his qualifying quest tomorrow, after defeating familiar foe, Harvard #1 Sid Suchde, in today's first action.

The qualifier wasn't as friendly for several current and former Dartmouth players, with both Julia Drury and Ryan Donegan failing to advance.
